For a cleaner, sanitiser and deodoriser I use the following mixture for everything.
In a 500ml spray trigger bottle add
60mls of Pure Australian 'Dives' Eucalyptus Oil,
60mls of Methylated Sprites (Metho speeds up the drying time. If you do not have Metho you can use White Vinegar)
Next step is to have a smell of the mixture (your nose is the best indicator you have)
If you like the aroma, fill to the top with water.
Shake well before use, turn the trigger to mist spray and every so often to keep the three ingredients mixed.
This is my one and only quick house cleaner.
TIP: Keep with the cheap spray trigger bottles as over time pure eucalyptus oil will weaken the inside of the spray trigger head to cause leaking. Once leaking starts go buy or find another cheap one. Don't spend big money on spray trigger heads.
HINTS: I use this and paper towels to clean my windows, mirrors, stainless steel, grease off the cook top splash back & free standing range hood, bench tops (I have Laminex), tiles, front of the oven & microwave oven doors and white goods in the kitchen. I change to a chux cloth to spray & wipe any marks off kitchen cupboard doors, walls while moving into the bathroom to do muchly the same surfaces in the same way.
Been on septic I do not have toilet blues or any other toilet cleaners.
I only use the euco spray & wipe by spraying inside the toilet then scrubbing with the toilet brush, flushing then spraying all around the outside including the seat and lid then wipe with a chux cloth.
You can even do the inside of your car, leather/vinyl seats plus windows and mirrors.
A good pure Australian eucalyptus oil will not streak or stain, it's non-residual making it an excellent natural cleaner.
Everyday Anti-Bacterial Spray & Wipe Cleaner
To make an anti-bacterial spray & wipe cleaner you will need a 500ml mist spray trigger bottle then add the following
5mls (1 teaspoon full) of Pure Tea Tree Oil,
60mls of Pure 'Dives' Eucalyptus Oil,
60mls of Methylated Sprites (Metho speeds up the drying time. If you do not have Metho you can use White Vinegar)
Next step is to have a smell of the mixture (your nose is the best indicator you have)
If you like the aroma, fill to the top with water.
Shake well before use and every so often to keep the four ingredients mixed.
This will give you the best of both oils with the dives eucalyptus oil as the antiseptic and deodoriser while the tea tree oil delivers it's great anti-bacterial and fungal qualities. It can be used in communal areas and on plenty of surfaces like kitchen bench tops, toilets, telephones, computers etc....
Very easy to use, just shake, mist spray then wipe with a paper towel or chux cloth.
TIP: Keep with the cheap spray trigger bottles as over time pure eucalyptus & tea tree oils will weaken the inside of the spray trigger head to cause leaking. Once leaking starts go buy or find another cheap one. Don't spend big money on spray trigger heads.
HINTS: When cleaning communal telephones and computer keypads spray mixture into/onto the cloth first then wipe over the surface.
