Birch timber is the most adsorbing timber of them all. The darker the timber goes the more oil is absorbed.

Soak them in a jar of your most loved essential oil, then place them in a nice glass bowl to allow the aroma to drift through the room that you have chosen. When the aroma is no longer you can resoak them in the same oil or change to another essential oil that you love. They can also be placed in clothes drawers and cupboards for a moth deterrence, depending on the oil you soak them in.

Always remember, if displaying them in an open bowl, keep them up high out of reach of children.
